file to the adapter

put adapter03.cfg adapter.cfg #upload an adapter specific

config file to the adapter

put adapter02.def adapter.def #upload a default settings

file to the adapter

disconnect #disconnect from ManageUPS

#repeat the above steps for all of the adapters on your

system.

quit #quits out of the FTP

client.

4. Save the script ﬁle to the \Manageupsnet

directory, name the ﬁle “upload.ftp”.

5. Open a Command Prompt. Change to the

\Manageupsnet directory.

6. You can run the script by typing “ftp.exe

-s:upload.ftp”. When the script is done

all of the ﬁles will have been uploaded to the

adapters speciﬁed.

Downloading Files

All of the ﬁles listed in Appendix C, page 45,

except the ﬁrmware ﬁle, can be downloaded to

a PC. This section describes the two methods

which can be used to perform ﬁle downloads.
